Sofia, (also known as Sophia Bulgaria) is the capital of Bulgaria. Other than being the biggest city in Bulgaria, Sofia also plays host to 1.14 million citizens.

Most of Sofia has been rebuilt after the WW2 bombings. With its eclectic mix of architecture and structure Sofia is both compact and diverse.

The fast growing eastern European city is expanding rapidly in all areas. You can find detailed information on all cultural events in Sofia, cinema, theatres and also restaurants and bars.

The capitol of Bulgaria seems to be a diverse mix of regimented soviet war remains and modern designs. You'll be surprised at how quickly Bulgaria is catching up to its EU counterparts.

This unusal delight is a hostel which doubles as an art gallery.Self-described as having a Paresian mentality with a Russian thirst for liquor, this place has rave reviews. Frankly, it isn’t your average hostel – and thank goodness for that!
